- Authentication information (via Firebase Authentication)

1.2 Financial Information via Plaid
When you choose to connect your financial accounts, Cardvisor uses Plaid, Inc. ("Plaid") to securely access limited financial data on your behalf. Cardvisor does not receive or store your bank login credentials.
The information we may receive from Plaid includes:
- Credit card account metadata (issuer, account name)
- Balances and credit limits
- Transaction and merchant category information
This data is used solely to provide Cardvisor’s core functionality.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system
- App usage and performance data
- Crash logs and diagnostic data
This information is collected in an aggregated or anonymized manner where possible.
2. How We Use Your Information
Cardvisor uses your information to:
- Provide and operate the App
- Recommend the optimal credit card for purchases
- Monitor utilization and payment status
- Send notifications and alerts you enable
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal or financial information.

We may share information only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App, including:
- Plaid: to securely access financial account data you authorize
- Firebase (Google): for authentication, data storage, and analytics
- Apple: for App Store distribution and platform services

- Your Plaid access tokens are revoked

Cardvisor is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The App may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
